The story starts in a fantastic world, happens in the universe. Alpha, the main place in this story as the background, combining thousand of the planet, species, and high-tech. The story set the timeline in 2520 years. The timeline showed the growth of Alpha from 1975 to 2520, combining other species’ planets, and became stronger.

The climate on Alpha is very different and very variance from another planet, but for Mul planets, the climate not much different and only one season. This climate affects the people to be more secure but they also try to get with it and study it by using the resources. The Pearls learn other language and information in Alpha to update themselves from their planet. The people on this planet can live at outdoors. This planet has a danger of occupation by other forces. The Boulan Bathor try to catch Sergeant Laureline for their king.

The Mul have a beautiful natural surrounding around the world. There have sea, beach, blue sky and houses. There is no inhabitant called Pearls aware from this beautiful world. They are an animal called Melo the Converter lives in this world. The Converter can be used to produce what you want even it is money. In this world, Pearls appreciate the resources from the surrounding by rebate to nature. They being work beasts and pets in this planet.

The people in Alpha live as a group, couples, or single. The three pigeons live together to sell their information, and they can’t live without their partner, because of the information had to divide into three, and they can’t sell information without their partner. Other people may know what other people doing but some are not. The people live in the core of Alpha do not know what is happening below the ground. They are at peace with a certain area, but having war outside the space. There is enough food for everyone in Alpha. Some of them have a house but some of them are wandering around the city.

In the economy of Alpha, people make a living by trading/business or processing energy by using the Melo the Converter. They will earn money and energy through this Converter or trading. Some of the workers work to live but some of them live to work. Bubble work to live as a slave in the pub. They will be working if there is any job has to be done and work regular day by day. There is not much poverty in the Big Market. They need a spaceship to travel between the planets. The travel is very fast through the spaceship.

The arrangement of power in arranged by the distribution of the people. Some people manage to mastered in one profession. Omelites are expert in one profession which is the program and based on advanced information technology. Azin Mo from planet Nojima is intergalactically famous for their extraordinary cellular materialization abilities. Their medical skills make them one of the most popular and power on this city. Some people don’t have power over their lives but some people manage to get power from the forces. Some people can decide what to do tomorrow and some people have no power to decide. Bubble work as a slave and have no power to decide what she can do. Some of the people are governed by the need to work just like Bubble. They tied to their job to let them work for him, but some people can do the job independently. Valerian does his job by following his decision. They don’t have spare time. Bubble doesn't have spare time even she doesn't have job to do. They have no wealth and power over others. They wish to be free. Bubble leave her planet to get freedom.

The rituals of this world are greeting to each other. The first Okko-Bar of the Alpha try to greeting by shaking hand, but the other did not know to do with this action. In Mul planet, Pearls greeting by waving their hand to the other.

The ethics of this world are telling other not to make a decision to destroy other species. Okko-Bar destroys other spaceship by destroying the Mul planet. The moral constructed by Pearls, and are not to killing other and learn to forgive. The Pearls forgive Okko-Bar even he destroyed and killed many of them. To the Pearls, forgive once is the boundaries of right, good and legal, the killing is the boundaries of wrong, evil and illegal.

The spiritual life is to support our life in this world. To Valerian, Laureline is the support of Valerian, because Valerian will try to save her if she in a trouble. There is no religion organized by Alpha. In my opinion, religion is important than the inner spiritual research. The religion can unite all the same religion in organized but inner spiritual will follow what he believes in.

In this world, emotions are important because they need to express their feeling about the world and when things happen. Laureline feels anxious when Valerian disappeared at the red zone, in opposite, Valerian feel angry when the Bowlan Bathor caught away Laureline. Valerian feels sad when Bubble died. The affairs are that Laureline fell in love with Valerian in the end of the story and the feuds are that Pearls feel angry when Okko-Bar destroy their planet but still try to forgive Okko-Bar. Sometimes we can express our emotion openly toward our family, couple, and friend, but sometimes we can suppress through custom. Alpha is the world that considered important to be controlled and unemotional at all times because Alpha is the planet that has many forces and power that need to be controlled.

Important that the creative and performing arts to the society and my character because it used to influence our l and make our life to be more colorful. In Alpha, people use this creative to improve their living style and development, just like Omelites and Azin Mo. People will do their work away from their home. In Mul, people will go for harvest and manage their living for development. People in Alpha will go to the red zone for entertainment themselves. They will have their leisure even they are working, just like Valerian having his leisure time while traveling to another planet.

People are in general content with this world because all the species from difference planet joining to Alpha. The Pearls long to leave it because the Pearls learn all the information and technology to make a new Mui planet. If they wish to change it, they will totally miss it because all the past creates a present them.

The architect has a value of important to build a comforting development. Difference space plays a role of different function towards the storyline. The space created by those architects told the same story with space. One of the most significant space is the Bubble working space. This is because the space that Bubble working is to correspond to the identity of Bubble(dancing). Architecture suit at the storyline as a designer and to generate tension by the awe building and design. The architecture is an important character in the movie as the spaceship Alpha. The architecture embrace and absorb everything in the scene as all character can mix with the building. The building has a specific architecture style just like a future development. This kind of style suitable for the context of the story because of this "future" style is just happening in the storyline. The materials used in the architecture is included steel, clay, stone, and brick. This kind of materials playing a part of defense from enemies and appearance to show the beauty of fantasy. There is a different type of architecture used in the movie to show the different levels of society just like the space of the Alpha are all steel like construction for high-class people different from the red zone, used of brick for low-class people.

This story have gave me a good impression and the story is teaching us moral value that we need to think more deeply.
